Testimonials:

"A great trio - strings all over the place, playing beautiful music of all different styles and idioms." - Jay Ungar

We wanted to send an enormous thank you for providing the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour! We have had nothing but compliments about your beautiful arrangements of the songs that we requested as well as your choices for the evening. I can't put into words how much it meant for you to go out of your way to arrange the processional songs for us, it was exactly what I had imagined it would be. It couldn't have been more perfect or more suited for the atmosphere and energy. We are so happy to have had you be a part of our day!

I really appreciate the ease in communication leading up to the wedding as well as your professionalism day of! I had nothing to worry about during the day of the wedding and I deeply appreciated that.

Thank you again and I hope to be able to see you again soon somewhere!

Best wishes,

Corinne & Jeff   October 2018

My wife and I hired The Bernstein-Bard Trio to play at our wedding and we were so thrilled with our experience. I found the Trio on GigMasters and their professional photos, recordings and videos were leagues above any of the other artists listed on the website. I reached out to the band about booking and received a reply within hours. Steve was cordial, friendly, and professional and the booking process was simple and easy. On the wedding day, the band showed up early, got set up, and got to playing. The guys in the band are incredibly talented and wowed our guests with their music. I couldn't recommend The Bernstein-Bard Trio more highly. Book them today!

The Bernstein Bard trio did an excellent job for Greta and Rob's wedding. As per my daughters request, they made beautiful arrangements of Beatles music for the ceremony. The music they provided for the cocktail hour was wonderful and enjoyable for everyone. I was most impressed with the professionalism and musicianship of the Bernstein Bard trio. as a musician myself, I truly appreciate the high level of craft they bring to the job. I would highly recommend the Bernstein Bard trio to anyone!

The trio played at our wedding in the Catskills - they were INCREDIBLE!!! Steve communicated really well before the wedding about the sound we were going for, the trio learned songs for the ceremony, and even gently prompted us to have a first dance (which we hadn't planned out at all), to the most beautiful rendition of Neil Young's Harvest Moon. These guys are professional, talented, and just have a wonderful energy. Hire them! -Claire N, Kingston, NY

We hired the Bernstein-Bard Trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Can't possibly say enough about these guys. They were so professional and, with all the hectic wedding planning, it was such a relief to have a reliable vendor you didn't have to worry about on the day of. Steve's response time to emails/calls/any needs we had was insanely good (almost frighteningly so!). They were extremely accommodating too - they learned a song just for my wife's processional without any complaint... if anything, they were excited to arrange and perform it. The music sounded GREAT too, and we got lots of compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend! -Mark R, Westerlo, NY

Booking the Bernstein Bard Trio (plus a fiddle player) was one of the best decisions we made during our Adirondack wedding weekend. We hired the band to play at our rehearsal dinner, which was a Bluegrass BBQ-style event at an ADK great camp with about 50 people attending. They played a wide range of music (with an emphasis on bluegrass at our request) and many guests commented on the excellent music. I would book them again in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding at Century House in upstate NY in September. These guys killed it, the guests were even on their feet and applauding during the ceremony. They learned a beautiful Russian song for my wife and they also learned a cool version of "Girl you'll be a woman soon" for the processional. We loved all of their Beatles covers too. In short, these guys rule.
